My Place Hotel-Portland East, OR

My overall stay at My Place hotel was good. The bed was comfortable. There was a comfy recliner in the room. My view was amazing. I had a view of Mount Saint Helens. I think the hotel is Perfect for the person that does not stay in a hotel for leisure or pleasure but only for sleep.

I firmly believe that this will be an excellent place for travelers with dogs to stay. You can bring up to two dogs, and for additional dogs, a $15.00 fee is charged. It's considered a very cost-effective hotel, and there's a McDonald's and a Burger King within walking distance, making it convenient for a quick breakfast. The stay was much cleaner and more comfortable than expected, and I think it will be the same for most people except for special cases. The room is equipped with a microwave, a medium-sized refrigerator, and a kitchen sink, making it impressive to prepare simple meals. Most of the facilities are new, providing a comfortable stay. Free coffee is provided, and in front of the reception, you can purchase simple food and cooking utensils. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided in the bathroom, and even dish soap is available in the kitchen. To the east, it's easy to access famous waterfalls and trail courses. To the west, Costco is nearby, and it's in a great location for accessing the city. I intend to stay here on my next visit and highly recommend this accommodation.

Nice. Has a kitchenette but not a single kitchen utensil or pot and pan. You can buy them in the lobby. They have coffee. Suggestion: leave directions in the room on how to use the two different tv remotes. Our tv needed paired and had the desk attendant come and show us how. Clean. Recliner had a sweat smell to it.

Check in was smooth. The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable and we liked the recliner chair. It was nice to have a full size fridge with ice maker. Nice quiet stay.

Brand new hotel with full kitchens. Coffee free 24/7, however no breakfast. Can order room service breakfast for an additional charge, but simple commissary items. Rooms were clean and updated. Close to the freeway, but minimal noise surprisingly. Close to a few eateries and freeway access.

I live on the coast and work in Portland a few times a month. I have a small dog and this hotel is my go-to. It’s right next to I-84 and has multiple food options nearby. The pet policy of $15 a night is (other options in the area don’t allow or $45+ a night) and if you join MyPlace rewards (no fee to join) you can check in early/late @ 1pm which is major. There is a grassy area for pets that is blocked off from traffic and has waste bags. You get a full size fridge and microwave and even an electric range and the shower is great. If you travel to Portland for work and have a pet, this is the spot.

So being Very honest, I was hesitant to stay here, because of a couple crappy reviews about cars getting broken into, I was thinking oh shoot!!! I already booked my room too late, but honestly I had the best experience here, the staff was extremely nice and helpful the rooms were excellent, I mean you can’t really find a place like this in the area for the price, I researched like 2 hours and couldn’t find anything esle in the area close to this price, truthfully the neighborhood around the hotel is pretty rough, so thankfully my car didn’t get broken into! Maybe I’ll put a fake snake in my drivers seat to detour thrives! lol, so if you want to take a chance on this place go for it, we had a fantastic experience!

Cindy was the best and at her job her customer service skills make this hotel what it is after a rough day rough week rough year it was good to be greeted by someone down to earth made me feel relieved
